Researchers reported improvements in measured sustained attention and overall cognition shortly after a dose. Caffeine alone worsened one measure of impulse control; improvement on that measure with the combination was not statistically significant.

2026 small study · 21 participants. A placebo-controlled crossover study in young people ages 10–19 with AD*D reported reduced responses to distracting stimuli and less slowing of responses as an attention task continued. Other attention measures did not significantly improve. These findings also remain preliminary.
